The group, consisting of five parts, including four solo singers and a pianist, was born in 2000 by the great passion for the gospel & spiritual tradition of the pianist Joseph Gioeni, who, with his wife, the Italian-American singer Mirella Naples , and with the collaboration of Daniel Firrincieli, conducted a thorough research aimed at enhancing not only the characteristics of music, but also the meaning of the songs created by African American slaves. The concert repeats classic songs gospel and carols rearranged by Gioeni. In addition to the pianist and his wife, are part of the soul singer Maurizio Conti, the soul singer and pianist Edy Valastro and blues rock singer John Lombardo.
