At the end of the film my father explained to me that you use it, even if it is not a written law.
The commander never leaves the sinking ship, but sinks to her, as if a loved one over the other, which can not be left alone as they are dying.

But now times have changed, certain feelings are no longer part of us, no longer belong, are outmoded and obsolete, anachronistic and almost pathetic, but hopefully to remind us proud human beings, which still exist, which There are still somewhere, who survived the destruction caused by us, there are animals with their simplicity with their spontaneity, with their instinct, not contaminated and destroyed by "progress" as was the case for us, give us an example and a warning to a memory, maybe even a reprimand, if yet we can understand its meaning.
The latter is a few days ago and it comes from a dog, incidentally, named Athos, one of the three musketeers.
All we have followed the story of the anxious merchant ship Jolly Amaranth with the engines fails, for days at the mercy of the stormy sea, without the possibility of being rescued, and unsustainable due to adverse sea conditions.
