September 20, 1870 September 19, 2010 is not historical ignorance, or a distraction of the writer. Well aware
that anniversaries are celebrated in the corresponding day, this year, unfortunately, we dell'ALCRAS States, an association of secular inspiration Mazzini, together with all other lay associations, we decided to anticipate the celebration of XX Settembre, auspicious date for us, because it sanctioned the end of the temporal power of the Pope, the day before, Sept. 19.
This painful decision was dictated by reasons of expediency and in order to express our opposition and our disapproval.
the celebrations because of the XX Settembre at Porta Pia, the next President of the Republic and the Mayor of Rome, will also be present in an official capacity, Cardinal Bertone.
This presence is considered inappropriate and undesirable to us, and screeching coming to conflict with the celebration of absolute secularism, secularism offense that we have already seen two years ago, when the delegate of the Mayor of Rome, in his celebratory speech, he quoted one by one names of the fallen part skullcap, omitting, perhaps for lack of time or distraction, to quote the names of our fallen Italians.

Faithful to the principle of tolerance, however, the cornerstone of our secularism, we decided to bring forward the date of our secular celebrations of the previous day.
For these reasons and to avoid unpleasant encounters, at 12 pm on September 19th, 2010 at Porta Pia will make the right honor to those who died for the liberation of Rome.
