Dear Omar, now that you are free, with all my heart I wish to smell different smells, hear new sounds, to hear the sounds of the city that you are missed so much, to forget the silence that there was "inside" behind the prison walls, replacing it, filling it with the deafening noise of memories, with the sound of screams of terror and pain of a mother and a child killed by stab wounds and those of your Erika, daughter and sister, to fill your days a gardener, with cruel images that only you were able to see and remember, to "live quietly" with the company of remorse, I hope, that will accompany you for life, a free man.
If it were possible I would love a good book to read in moments of rest from hard work: "Crime and Punishment" by a Russian author Feodor Dostojewskij. Reading it you may discover that the protagonist, having killed one person and not two, like you, and moreover old usurer, did not aspire to live their quiet ..... but I do not want anything else, it would take away the taste of the reading.
